EFT / TAPPING

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a brief innovative intervention that combines elements of exposure, cognitive therapy and somatic stimulation. It is often referred to as Tapping because it uses a two-finger tapping process at certain points on the meridians, while saying a cognitive acceptance phrase bringing thoughts, emotions or physical discomfort to consciousness.

The EFT (clinical) is scientifically valid and follows the criteria to be considered an evidence-based technique with established efficacy for Pain, Phobias, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Trauma, Stress, Anxiety, Depression among other conditions.

The goal is to help find relief, relaxation and promote the overcoming of emotions or physical issues that block us. EFT is scientifically valid and follows the criteria to be considered an evidence-based technique with established efficacy for Pain, Phobias, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumas, Stress, Anxiety, Depression among other conditions.

EFT helps in the regulation of the nervous system.

Continuous stress keeps the sympathetic nervous system in an elevated fight or flight state - fight or flight, which is associated with high levels of the stress hormone: cortisol. Several studies have shown that EFT Tapping substantially decreases cortisol.
